If you are a nature lover and love to spend time in the peace of nature, then today's blog is absolutely for you. Today, I'm here to express about Okhla Bird Sanctuary. So let's start... πŸ‘‰

How to be there 

  • Most convenient way to go is metro πŸš‡. Catch πŸƒ magenta line . 
  • Nearest metro station is okhla bird sanctuary itself. Your destination is on 5-7 min. walking distance from there. 
  • You can take an auto also but they will try to charge more if they find you are new thereπŸ˜€πŸ˜€. So I would suggest don't go for auto and give trouble to your feet, it will be beneficial for both, health and pocketπŸ™‚πŸ˜‰πŸ˜œ. 

Ticket 

  • Entry ticket is INR 30 for indians and 350 for foreigners. 
  • You will have to pay INR 500 extra if you are carrying a small non-digital camera with you.

  • There is a cafeteria inside names Nature's Peace. 
  • You can find fast food there on a reasonable price. 
  • If you love your Ghar Ka Khana , you can bring it here and enjoy it on wooden boat while beholding the view of nature.

  • Best months to visit : October - March ( you will find abundant species of migratory  birds)

  • Timings: 
Summer : 7:00 am - 5:30 pm 
Winter : 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
