Kada Prashad| Gurudwara| Ingredients| Recipe

Hello readers! I welcome you once again to my blog Let's Know😊. With a new blog, I'm here again to talk with you.

Today I am here to share an extremely tasty recipe with you. I tried it few days back and trust me it was a fab😌. If you have ever been to a gurudwara then you must have tested the Kada Prashad πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹. The aroma, the taste, the texture everything is tempting about this prashad. My mouth waters🀀🀀 whenever I hear the word kada prashad. It has been my favourite since my childhood. I always used to think about its recipe and I got it nowπŸ˜€πŸ˜Œ. So let's start......

Ingredients you need

  • Clarified Butter (Desi Ghee) - 1 bowl
  • Sugar - 1 bowl
  • Wheat Flour - 1 bowl

The ratio of each ingredient should be in 1:1:1. If you take 2 bowl flour then you need 2 bowl ghee and 2 bowl sugar and so on.

Steps to Cook

1.Pour ghee into the cauldron/kadhai and let it melt, then add wheat flour. Now stir it continuously (on low flame) until its color changes into a  light golden/yellow. It will take 5-6 minutes, you will notice the foam made on the surface has disappeared.

2. Now, add 2 bowl of water and stir it for 2-3 minutes and the flour swell up.

3. Add 1 bowl of sugar and stir it for 2-3 min on low flame. You will notice ghee is separating from halwa. At this stage, don't turn your gas off but let the prashad cook for another 1-2 minutes on very low flame and then let it cool down.

Now your kada prashad is ready. 😍πŸ₯°

Note

  • Always cook it on low flame, it will enhance the flavor.
  • Quantity of water should be twice of the quantity of other ingredients. Here, I took 1 bowl of each ingredient and 2 bowl of water. If you take 2 bowl of each ingredient then you need to take 4 bowl of water and so on.

Please like if you find it useful and helpful.
Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. 😊😊
